There are a few steps you can take to keep your beans fresh and avoid flavor loss. The first step is keeping your beans sealed and keeping oxygen out of the bag. Every single Satoshi’s Sip bag is equipped with an oxygen valve and arrives heat sealed. Next, you want to keep the container in a place that avoids direct sunlight and other temperature fluctuations. This will keep the beans at a consistent temperature and help them preserve their flavor. After that, you want to make sure your beans are not next to strong-smelling items- as coffee easily absorbs odors. Finally, to ensure maximum freshness, it is recommended that you grind your beans just before brewing to guarantee the strongest flavor.

Yes, once your order is fulfilled, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. Within that email you will be given a tracking number. We use USPS as our shipping service, so you can expect your package to arrive in 2-5 business days after the order has been processed.

Satoshi’s Sip operates in the DMV (Washington DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia) region. The short answer is “yes” - there will be opportunities to buy our coffee in person. However, it will likely only be limited to our area. Satoshi’s Sip is active on numerous social media platforms and will keep our followers updated on where/when we are selling!

The shelf life for our coffee beans is determined by when the coffee beans are roasted. In the sealed packaging, your beans will last for around 3 months or longer depending on the environment the beans are stored in. If the package is already opened, the beans will last about a month before the flavor begins to weaken.
